Shipping, Payments & Returns
We offer free shipping on orders shipped within the continental US lower 48 states. If you select free shipping, your order will be shipped by the carrier and service of our choice. Tracking numbers are emailed out the day your order is shipped. We will ship to US outlying areas, although Free Shipping is not included for Hawaii, Alaska, and other US territories.
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). We also accept payments by PayPal, money order, and personal check. If paying by personal check or money order, please allow 7-10 days for your check to clear before item is shipped.
If you are dissatisfied with an item you purchased from us that has not been used, please contact us within 10 days to obtain a Return Authorization Number. Return shipping is at the buyers expense, unless there was an error made by us. In order to receive a full refund, the items must be unused and returned in the original retail box/packaging. If an item is not returned in resalable condition, a 15% restocking fee may apply. Original shipping charges are not refundable, unless you contact us within the first 10 days of receiving your order. After 10 days, shipping charges will apply on returned items.
All Berkey products are warrantied by the Berkey manufacturer New Millennium. Systems (not including filters) have a 6 month warranty, and black filters are covered under a 2 year pro-rated warranty.
If the product you purchased has been used, we will accept returns up to 60 days from the purchase date. Please understand that water filters are a consumable item and cannot be resold once they have been exposed to water. Because of this we cannot issue refunds for used filters.
If an item you purchased is not working properly, the manufacturer will replace the defective items under the terms of their warranty. If you choose not to have the items replaced and still want to return the item, there will be a 15% restocking fee. The retail price of used filters will be subtracted from the original purchase price. Return shipping will be at the buyers expense.
Please note that merchandise cannot be returned without an authorization number. Return shipments not having prior approval will not be accepted.
It is recommended that you purchase insurance and tracking for any shipment returned for refund or credit. We will not be responsible for lost or damaged packages. Return authorization number must be clearly marked on the outside of the package.
Once your authorized return has been received in satisfactory condition, we will issue a refund or credit within 7-14 days. If item was paid for through PayPal, you will be refunded through PayPal. Refunds or credits will be for your ordered item(s) only. Original shipping charges are not refundable.

1. What should I do if I don't understand how to handle my return?
If there are any questions regarding how to fill out the form or how the process works please first read the entire Returns/Exchanges Policy (.pdf form), the instruction guide which is a part of the RMA form and FAQ's. If you do not find the answer to your question please call and we will be happy to aid you in this process.
2. What if I received this as a gift and I don't have the receipt?
We will need a proof of purchase to process the return. Please contact the individual that gifted the product and see if they still have a proof of purchase to provide you. Alternatively, the dealer from whom they made the purchase may be able to provide you with a copy of the invoice.
3. What if I don't have a copy of my original receipt?
We will accept a printed copy of a charge statement or a copy of a voided check that was used to pay for the product. Alternatively, we will accept the manufacturing date of the Black Berkey™ elements as a surrogate purchase date to establish warranty eligibility.
4. What do I do with the RMA form once it has been completed?
Please make a copy for your own records and place the original inside the parcel along with the product you are returning. Also, please make any check or money order payable to: New Millennium Concepts, Ltd.

Do Berkey® Systems Have A Warranty?
Yes, the Black Berkey™ purification elements have a two-year prorated warranty calculated in six months intervals. Our guarantee is prorated similar to the guarantee on tire tread. In other words, if you have used the filters for six months, 75% of the guarantee still applies and so you can get a replacement set for 25% of the normal cost.
The systems themselves and their components have a six-month warranty as stated below.
GENERAL WARRANTY INFORMATION
New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. Warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 6 months from date of purchase.Black Berkey™ purification elements have a two-year prorated warranty calculated in six months intervals. New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. will replace or repair any product that it deems is not properly functioning during the stated warranty period. Relief under this warranty is limited to the replacement or repair of defective materials or workmanship only. New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. shall not be held liable for incidental or consequential damage to personal property from, but not limited to, a defective unit, improper use, abuse, accident, or neglect, etc. New Millennium Concepts, Ltd. shall not be responsible for any damage or loss other than for the product purchased. It is the customers responsibility to prevent misuse of the system and to replace parts when, due to the natural course of wear and tear, they must be replaced. No warranty will apply to units which have been used for purposes not intended, which have been altered so as, in the manufacturers' judgment, to affect adversely its performance. This warranty is for the original retail purchaser only, and cannot be transferred. Repair or replacement of parts will be made upon delivery to manufacturer's plant or authorized service dealer at customer's expense. The laws of the State of Texas, USA, will govern any disputes regarding this warranty or claim made. This warranty, which is given expressly in lieu of all warranties, expressed or implied, or merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, constitutes the only warranty made by New Millennium Concepts, Ltd.
